For the floor lamp (piantana) “Thre Pai” the choice of materials was the starting point to achieve the desired goal: seamless integration, with both prestige and coherence, in environments ranging from antique buildings to the most progressive contemporary settings.
The Murano glass is obviously an essential part of the project, but the wood was also of the utmost importance in the success of this piece. The rigorous lines and the warmth of the material, make it easily to coordinate with both classic furniture as well as modern or minimalist environments. Even the name that was given, “Three Pai,” aims to highlight the history and dialect of Venice. Another feature, intriguing and useful at the same time, is the ability to rotate the wooden legs flattening them on themselves, thereby reducing the volume and the transportation costs.
