Paolo Favaretto architect*
Paolo Favaretto was born in Padua in 1950. A Venice University graduate in Architecture, he set up in 1973 the design practice now known as Favaretto & Partners. He has acquired substantial international experience in industrial design and consultancy, collaborating with leading firms worldwide, earning important awards and acknowledgements. He is president of ADI North East delegation (Association for Industrial Design),  he was founder and president of the I.I.D.D. (Italian Institute for Design and Disability) that is became DFA ITALIA, he was also a member of the Board of Directors of the  E.I.D.D. (European Institute for Design and Disability) that is became DFA EUROPE, he represents the ADI association to BEDA (The Bureau of European Design Associations).
He was also on the scientific committee of the European IDIA project (Inclusive Design and Intelligent Technology for Accessible Workplaces).
He has been invited as speaker at many conferences round the world, held lectures at various higher education establishments, such as IUAV University in Venice, the Italian School of Design in Padua, the National College of Art & Design in Dublin, the University Consortium for Corporate Organisation Studies in Vicenza, and the Milan Polytechnic. A regular contributor to a number of Italian design magazines, particularly in the office sector, his work has appeared in many leading Italian and foreign specialist publications, books and web sites.
